Latihan Soal Suffix Bahasa Inggris Part 1 : Suffix dalam Pembentukan Kata Benda (Noun) dari Kata Kerja (Verb)

Suffix adalah tambahan huruf atau kelompok huruf yang ditempatkan dibagian belakang suatu kata. Dalam bahasa Inggris, Ada dua jenis suffix yaitu inflectional suffixes dan derivational suffixes. Inflectional suffixes biasanya bisa kita lihat dalam kata - kata kerja yang berakhiran -s, -es, -ing, -ed atau tambahan -es dalam noun yang menunjukkan bentuk jamak, dan sebagainya. Sedangkan derivational suffixes, suffix ditambahkan di akhir sebuah kata sehingga membentuk kelas kata dan makna baru yang berbeda dengan kata aslinya. Misalnya saja nouns menjadi adjectives, adjectives menjadi verbs, dan sebagainya.

Pada post pembelajaran tentang suffix, kita akan membahas mengenai bentuk derivational suffixes yang post nya akan saya bagi menjadi delapan bagian dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah pemahaman tentang materi per part-nya.

Dalam bagian pertama ini, kita akan membahas tentang pembentukan kata benda (noun) dari kata kerja (verb).

Biasanya pembentukannya terjadi dengan sedikit atau tanpa perubahan pada kata kerja dasar. berikut list perubahan kata yang termasuk dalam suffix -ment.
